Where is the Audemars Piguet boutique in Ginza?

The Audemars Piguet Boutique Ginza is at 6-5-13 Ginza, Chuo City, Tokyo. AP's store locator lists it as a boutique with the label "appointment recommended."

"Appointment recommended" is softer than "appointment only." AP's own stores page also says, in general terms, that its AP Houses and boutiques serve customers "regardless of reservation" with dedicated staff. So a walk-in may be possible in Ginza. Still, if you have a specific model in mind, book ahead or call first. A boutique cannot promise that any watch will be in stock.

AP House Tokyo vs. AP LAB Tokyo: what's the difference?

Besides the Ginza boutique, AP lists two more spaces in Tokyo. Both are marked "by appointment only". That matters for travelers. You can't just drop in on the way to dinner.

AP's own pages for these two spaces don't describe them in detail on the version we checked. So we won't guess at what is inside. What we can say: if one of them is your goal, contact it by email or phone well before your trip, and plan your day around the slot they give you.

Audemars Piguet boutiques in Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka

Outside Tokyo, AP lists three boutiques. Each one is labeled both "Boutique" and "Service Center," and each shows "appointment recommended."

The locator gives only the district (Sakae, Naka-ku) for the Nagoya boutique, not a full street address. Call before you go, or use the map on AP's locator to find the exact building.

If you are traveling between cities by train, these boutiques can fit into a day trip. Osaka's store is in Shinsaibashi, a central shopping area. Fukuoka's is in Tenjin, the city's main downtown district.

Official AP retailers in Japan

AP also lists independent official retailers. These are separate businesses that are authorized to sell Audemars Piguet watches. All three below are also marked as service centers.

The locator does not show an appointment label for these retailers. Their own policies may differ, so contact them before a long trip.

Where to get an AP watch serviced in Japan

If you already own an Audemars Piguet, AP's locator lists a dedicated service location in Tokyo:

• Audemars Piguet Japan, Customer Service (2F), 6-5-13 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo. This is the same address as the Ginza boutique. The locator shows 11:30 to 19:30 and a phone number, +81 3-6830-0789, and offers an appointment request.

The Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka boutiques and the three official retailers are also labeled as service centers. What each one can do on the spot, and how long a service takes, is not stated on the locator. Ask before you hand over your watch, especially if you leave Japan soon.

How to plan an AP visit as a traveler

Here is a simple order that works with what AP publishes:

1. Pick the location. Ginza is the easiest for a first visit, because it shows "appointment recommended" rather than "appointment only."
2. Contact it early. Email or call with your travel dates, the model you are interested in, and whether you need English. AP's locator does not list staff languages, so ask.
3. Confirm the hours on the day. Hours above are from October 21, 2026. Stores can change them for holidays or events, and AP's locator doesn't list holiday closures beyond its weekly hours.
4. Bring your passport. You may need it if you buy. Ask the store whether it offers tax-free sales.
5. Know what to expect. AP's store locator does not sell watches online. Every listing only offers a reservation request or contact details, not a "buy" button. Ask the store directly about price and availability.
